A 20 year old view gone. That's what my building is experiencing. A new one is under construction. And where? Just facing mine and blocking a great sea view. Sigh.
"In your face". That's what the new one is saying to the old one. It's Dikembe Mutombo's 3220 career blocks in the NBA.
So many things had been seen in that sight. From great sunsets to war ships throwing its rockets. The good and the bad. The beauty and the beast. But with this new building, all past memories seem "good" and "beauty".
I hope you're starting to know me by now. You know. The "positive" guy?
I say there will always be other beautiful things to look at. The sunset will never disappear. I will follow it wherever it goes. And no concrete will prevail over water.
Thought I would make it a quick blog for today. Too many things to do at work for a Friday.
Peace

Black Coffee "Decaf" Please
Yes. I well said "decaf". And here I am. Exactly 3:19 AM writing this blog. Sigh.
Major rule in life: Never trust your waiter with your "decaf" coffee. Sadly I happen to be one of those people really sensitive to caffein.
But there's something special about this coffee place. It happens to me all the time and I keep on going there. I don't even complain. It's like it never happened.
It's not me. Weird!
I'm not going to name the place. It's really nice. You should go.
Nothing much to say but a lot to think about. A simple cup of "supposed to be decaf coffee" kept me awake till now and made me remember and think about stories it had been ages I stopped thinking about.
Well. Some were pretty recent. Like eight months old.
I would like to share with you the fact that Die Hard 4.0 is being released today (http://www.livefreeordiehard.com/). I will be watching it with a huge basket of popcorn. You know which one. That one with the 2000 calories.
Finally a huge standing ovation to REM and Coldplay for their new single "In The Sun" (http://www.remhq.com/). My favorite song. In my modest opinion, one of the greatests of all time. It says:
“May God's Love Be With You
Always

Her Million Dollar Smile
I told her I would be writing about her. I’m not sure she believed me. Well, here’s the proof.
She was the first one to check my blog http://otherendofsunrise.blogspot.com/. In fact, for some time, she has been the first in everything. She’s on the other end of MSN during the day and on the other end of the coffee table during the night.
Wana feel better? See her smile … It’s a unique combination: her smile and her body language.
Funny, smart, witty, sociable, pretty … just to mention a few.
In the song Midnight Bottle for Colbie Caillat:
“If only for tonight I’ve got a
Midnight bottle gona ease my pain
From all these feelings driving me insane
She’s that bottle (not that I’m comparing her to a bottle. You know what I mean). She can make you forget a thousand worries with a single smile. And not just any …
The million dollar smile!
I wish you could see her smile while she is reading the below passage from a Kelly Rowland song called “Like This”. It says:
“Told ya'll I was gonna bump like this
Ya'll didn't think that I could bump like this
Said I told ya'll I was gonna bump like this
Turn around then I make it jump like this (Ladies!)
You wanna keep that boy That make it jump like this
Ya'll didn't think that I could make it jump like this
See I told ya'll I was gonna jump like this
How you not gon' know it when it hit like this?
I bet ya’ll. She’s smiling.
What’s there on the other end of sunrise? My teachers had taught me that it should be night somewhere in this world. To be more philosophical, I would say it’s sunset. Well, she’s both the sunrise and sunset put together.
A beautiful thing to look at, and a pleasure always. A lot more to say but a lot to do at work. Thought I would give it a few minutes to write this blog.
Her initials are T.A. and her name is Tracy Askar.
By the way, she’s single.
Cheers
